The Starfish Project of Richland County, Inc. is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization created by concerned community members to provide funds to enable individuals with a wide variety of life-controlling problems such as drug addiction to participate in the Teen Challenge Program and obtain a healthy life of recovery and spirituality. We are dedicated to changing our community, one life at a time.
Starfish Project of Richland County is achieving more with our initiatives than ever before. We work on many exciting projects to help improve the lives of others, and are very proud of the progress we continue to make. To provide youth, adults and families with an effective and comprehensive Christian faith-based solution to life-controlling drug and alcohol problems in order to become productive members of society. By applying biblical principles, Teen Challenge endeavors to help people become mentally-sound, emotionally-balanced, socially-adjusted, physically-well, and spiritually-alive.
NOT JUST FOR TEENS
Although the 12-14 month residential programs provided by Teen Challenge accept as young as 16 years and older, the majority are for adults of all ages.
Starfish Project of Richland County, Inc. provides scholarship funds toward initial induction fees. If you or some you know is struggling with a life-controlling problem and want help...THERE IS HOPE!
